Automated debt collection with incaseof.law
When payment reminders go unanswered, escalating to a debt collection agency has meant leaving ibana, filling out external forms, and losing visibility over the case.
ibana now integrates with incaseof.law, a specialized provider for out-of-court and legal debt collection. If an invoice is overdue and at least one payment reminder has been sent, a new "Initiate Collection" button appears on the invoice. A short guided dialog collects the necessary consents and sends the claim — including all relevant invoice and debtor data — directly to incaseof.law.
incaseof.law takes over the full collections process from there. There are no direct costs for your organization — incaseof.law works on a success-based model and recovers its fees from the debtor.
Once a claim is handed off, a status panel appears directly on the invoice in ibana, showing the current case status, collection stage, and last sync time — updated automatically in the background.
